Wild/Leica has been very consistent with their instrument design in regards to power requirements and cable connections. With only two exceptions*, all Wild/Leica instruments, electronic theodolites, digital levels and total stations run on 12 volts dc. Although many of the new instruments use 6 volt on-board batteries, this is internally converted to 12 volts for instrument operation.

Wild/Leica data/power connectors remain the same five pin Lemo connector (size “0”) throughout the electronic instrument family, so all instruments use the same Daysaver connectors. The larger five pin Lemo connector (size “1”) associated with battery connections has also remained constant since Wild first produced it’s top mounted EDM’s for optical theodolites.

*Wild TC-2000 requires over 13.9 volts to run confidently, hence powering the TC-2000 from a 12v source requires our A-29 regulated cable to increase the voltage output. Also, Leica laser trackers require 115 volts through a good quality UPS.

Leica GPS equipment uses a different keyed connector body than standard Leica survey instruments. We are not equipped to fabricate cables for your Leica GPS equipment.
